Plot Summary:
No plot connecting each small segment. This is a follow up to Make Mine Music. The shorts are different types of music performed by different pop artists of the time.

I honestly can't wait to be done with these shorts! Not a single one was outstanding enough to write about. WDAS really should have taken the war time off to focus on other adventures.

Animation Rating: 2 out of 5

The only short that made the whole thing worth watching was the "Trees" segment, just because it seemed more artistic and less cartoony than the rest.

The Test of Time:

None. I remember when this was released on VHS when I was child. This was pre-wiki and imdb and just at the start of PCs with home internet connection, so I wasn't able to spend hours a day researching and writing about Disney. But even at the time I had heard of Make Mine Music, but not Melody Time! Lock it in the vault, throw away the key. Any feature movie that "Donald" is the big draw should have never been made.
