Mickey Mouse is a great character, he is happy-go-lucky and never wants to hurt anyone. He is the mascot of a multi-million dollar, international company, with the forces that come with it behind him. Freddy Krueger is the "son of a hundred maniacs" and is a child killer. His no-holds bar fighting technique guarantees that Freddy would take down the mouse in just a few seconds. But Mickey is the "final girl" and the only surviving character because of his innocence and his ability to turn dreams into wishes.

Buffy Summers is the longest active slayer in history. Her friends are one of her greatest weapons, but she does have a soft spot for souled vampires and she never hurts humans (at least never chooses to). Sabrina is a walking mistake, she has great friends, but does rotten things to them, usually by mistake because she uses magic to solve her problems, then once doing things the mortal way, she can make them right. We've already seen Buffy v. a witch - twice. When it was her friend, she tried not to hurt her, but when it was a monster of the week, Buffy took her down. Buffy wins, unless Sabrina can charm her with her quirkiness to befriend her. Buffy wins.

Tommy was the hero of our collective childhood, he was evil, had an awesome zord, was good, lost his powers, came back again and we loved him. But he could only just barely outsmart or outfight his main opponent. Katniss is great at archery and has no problem killing a person, but it does eventually drive her mad. In a fight to the death, Tommy, as a power ranger, has much more arsenal at his disposal and could take her down, but he wouldn't kill a human. Katniss, beaten to a bloody pulp, would muster the strength to take Tommy out.

Carl is a playful child for most of his tenure on Walking Dead, and makes careless mistakes that causes trouble for all of the people in his "family." Elphaba also makes careless mistakes, but does them to take down a wizard. In a fight to the death, unless he has a bucket of water handy, this round goes to Elphaba.

Kermit is the lovable frog that has had an on-again-off-again relationship with a pig for several decades. He is the glue that holds the Muppets together, but sometimes throws temper tantrums. And like Mulan he has a good singing voice. Mulan saved her country (and her father) by masquerading as a man to fight in the army. And even after she is found out and dishonored, she still defends the Emperor. Mulan is very brave and even gets the guy in the end. She wins.

Genius versus genius! Sheldon and Billy have a lot of the same traits, they are super smart, ill-understood by their friends, not many friends but those who are forced upon them by circumstances. in a battle of brains, they are tied. In a battle of brawn, Billy would win, but unless Sheldon was doing something truly evil (not outside the realm of reality) Billy would not fight. So this one comes down to attractiveness. Billy, hands down.

Gollum is crazy and Wolfman is impulsive. I think the stars would have to align for them to fight. Wolfman would have to have the ring and it would have to be a full moon. If it is just a battle of awesomeness, then Gollum is way more awesome, despite his craziness, he still is a major antagonist for the heroes of his story.

Zack Morris connives his way out of ever single problem he puts himself into. He is mean to his friends, and is a womanizing playboy. Peter Pan has a complex named after him, he willingly throws himself into unneeded battles, and does a horrible job at "mothering" his lost boys. Not a lot of good seems to come from either of these boys, but when push comes to shove, Zack is going to win because what girl (or gay boy) of the 90's didn't want their own Zack Morris. This is another tough round. Both of these characters love and care for/about children, but only one can move onto round two. Mary has strange magic that seems only limited by her imagination, she scolds bad children, and has a nifty song to move the job along. Santa has years of experience, hundreds of holiday specials, songs for everything he does, and gives freaking iPods! Santa is way more epic than Mary (come back when you have your own holiday).

Big Bird counts to 10 and knows his ABC's he is innocent and is always willing to help out a friend. Though he still has an imaginary friend, he is helpful. Shaggy on the other hand is always high. He's so high, and scared, that the second he sees Big Bird, he'd run away in fright. Letting Bird win this round.

Ron is an awesome character, he is very real: lazy, horny, funny. He wins a chess game against Dame Maggie Smith's best game. He helps save the world from the worst wizard in history. And despite his poor upbringing, he doesn't let it get him down (mostly) and becomes the every man hero. Scooby on the other hand, eats a lot and runs away from men pretending to be ghosts. But who didn't want to be Shaggy with a talking dog side kick (well actually I wanted to be Velma, but that's another story). Scooby blunders his way through every mystery, as does Ron. This round of Epicness goes to Scooby, because he and Ron are very similar, but is a talking dog.
